FABRIC INFORMATION

Information for Thermalwool®

After many years of manufacturing thermal undergarments using materials such as cotton and polypropylene, a change has evolved to the use of more supple, lightweight and effective materials.

Thermalwool® was born.  This unique fabric is designed with a wool inner and polyester outer to be worn as a layer close to the skin. Garments designed with Thermalwool® have the wicking ability to remove moisture from the skin and slowly transfer it to the outer layer of the fabric.

Thermalwool® has been developed to offer you the most comfortable and effective protection against the elements.

Information for Wet Weather Apparel

The concept of protection from the elements has developed dramatically over time.

Originally, as in Scott's expedition to the Antarctic, it was considered absolutely essential to wear layer upon layer of clothing in order to keep warm and dry.

Today with the progress in technology, allowing for the use of lightweight fabrics and materials we can achieve the same desired results using correct layers of clothing, without the need for heavy, bulky layers.

At True Blue, we have the most technically advanced fabrics on the market today from lightweight 2 layer materials to the most advanced 3 layer combinations to cater for all climates and conditions.

These include Comfortex® and Emphatex®
